Incident Tactics.com - Tools for the New World
Online eLearning Application, ASP (Application Service Provider) eCommerce and Multi-server administration platform.
Technology: PHP & MySQL, Flash, Actionscript 2.0, Object Oriented Programming, SSL, Encryption of data, Animation and a whole lot of propritary technology.
Due to the nature of this company, and the fact we built a product to be used for Homeland Security, this is a tough one to show off.
Here's a link to a public Flash Demo we did and the following is a testimonial is their President's own words: |

"Florentine Design Group brought to Incident Tactics, a team of sophisticated developers at less than market rate. Our success in the Homeland Security Industry, our 99.99% up time, our content management system, website, portal, web based applications and ASP status are largely dependent upon the expertise, maturity and restraint excersised by the Florentine team."
- John Mitchell, President & CEO, Incident Tactics
Animated PowerPoint Presentations:
Animated PowerPoint presentations are a great way to capture attention with your presentation. By this we certainly do not mean "flying text" and other such distractions, but the addition of graphical elements which subtly enhance your presentation. Think of it as the Feng Shui of Presentation Graphics if you will.
Note: Animated PowerPoint uses Active X controls and VBscript to contain the objects, this means that a little warning box often pops up when the user starts your show. We usually only recommend that animated files be used when you are doing the presentation yourself, sending it within an organization which you know does not have security settings that prevent access, or at a Kiosk where the user does not have to start the show (such as continuous play).
Does this mean you shouldn't use Animation? Certainly not. Take a look at this free sample PowerPoint Template that uses Flash - here.
